On Sunday, May 4, Mayan Farm Team participated in Project Bread's 40th Walk for Hunger. This year's event was especially important for Mayan Farm as it provided support as a sponsor this Walk to raise funds for hungry people in Massachusetts.

Funds raised through the Walk support more than 400 emergency food programs in 126 communities statewide.

Today in Massachusetts, more than 450,000 people are struggling to put food on the table. They include the state’s most vulnerable citizens — children, senior adults, people with chronic illness, and the working poor. They’re suffering from an increase in poverty and the high cost of living.

Thank you for your support of this initiative and of hungry people!
